Important Patches Update - please read

Hello Everyone...

Just a quick post to update everyone:

Patches went missing for a little while but he has finally made it to his latest designation, whew!

Unfortunately, a new problem has come up....

Today, I noticed that the linky for signing up for a visit from Patches has disappeared. This has happened a couple times before when the code somehow change or the Linky site was down. However, today I went to check it on the site and found out my account has been deleted. The reason being that it is no longer a FREE linky site. I tried to send a message to ask if I can get access to the information but much to my frustration the contact form did not work either.

I now have to try and figure out how to set up a new link-up or other method for signing up for a visit from Patches. Sadly though, that probably means that some of you who expected to get him sooner will have to wait longer, since I have no way of recalling the order people were on that list. I am not sure if everyone who signed up even follows this blog.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. I really want everyone to have a chance to visit Patches!

If anyone has any suggestions for how to set up a new sign up, please email me or comment on this post.

I hate to hear all the info is gone, but glad Patches was found! I was starting to wonder about him. I think maybe making a page on the blog for a waiting list. Everybody can e-mail you to be added. As each person receives Patches it can be highlighted in a different color.

Thanks, Melissa. That is actually a good idea. I might do it that way. That would also ensure that I have contact information for Patches' hostesses.

Please keep watching for further update.

Yes, I second using a blog "page" :)

I can't wait for the sign up list to start again :)

Oh, how sad. Patches is visiting our family in Brantford so he is well and accounted for at least!

You would think if it was no longer going to be a free service, that they would be interested in contacting current linky users to see if they would like to pay for the service / and provide a little warning that all would be lost.
Grrr.

That really sucks the service is no longer free and they deleted your acct w/o contacting you. The page for a waiting list is a good idea
