Well, I don't think there will ever be another Patches... but we can replace him with another mascot to "patch up" broken hearts.
That said, I will send the replacement out to the next person on the list on October 15, 2012, three years to the day that Patches left on his trip. Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day.
But first! We must decide who will replace Patches... and what their name will be! Here are a couple of pictures. Take a look and then vote for your choice in the comments. The one with the most comments by October 12 will be the one to go. Also in the comments, please offer any names you can suggest!

My vote is for #6 the light brown bunny. Suggested name: Sunny the Bunny, because Patches Cousin will bring a little bit of sunshine to all the blm's homes as he visits them.

They are all so cute it's hard to choose! I am glad to see that you will be doing this again. It's really an awesome idea. I'm so sorry that Patches went missing :( I still say goodnight every night to Patches' little cousin that you sent to me. He is very loved! XOXO
